FARMVILLE, Va. – Behind an offense that powered a season-high three homers and a career-high nine strikeouts from sophomore Charlie McDaniel, the Presbyterian College baseball team defeated Longwood 7-5 on Thursday night at Buddy Bolding Stadium. Eric Toth and Joel Dragoo paced the offense with three hits apiece in the victory as Jeremiah Boyd, Brody Fahr, and Dalton Reeves each went deep on Thursday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- PC got on the board in the first with an RBI groundout from Dalton Reeves to give the Blue Hose an early 1-0 advantage.
- The Blue Hose continued to push in front in the second with Brody Fahr's solo homer before a Jay Wetherington sac fly made it 3-0 after 1.5 frames in Farmville.
- Jeremiah Boyd connected on his fourth homer of the season to push the lead to 4-0 following the top of the third.
- Longwood got on the board in the third with a five-run frame to gain its first lead of the contest at 5-4.
- Joel Dragoo tied the game in the fifth with an RBI single to even it up at five apiece.
- In the seventh, PC regained the lead when Reeves put a charge into one deep into right field and pushed the Blue Hose out a 7-5 lead.
- Reeves's homer would be enough of a gap as Clark Dearman would total four strikeouts in the final two frames to get PC the 7-5 victory.
