CLINTON, S.C. - In just the second day of full pads, the Presbyterian
College football team produced another standout day under the sun during the
fourth overall practice of the spring.
"It was a great day to be a Blue Hose," head coach Harold Nichols said. "The
intensity was good. Overall, we need to improve on developing consistency in
each practice as we are striving not to be up and down.
"Today, Derek Brown, Joe Wideman and Antarius Terrell stood out during the team
period. Another person who has had a good four practices is Keyadd Miller.
"Offensively, Bruce Smith has had a strong last couple of days. Quarterback
Brandon Miley made some progress while Lance Byrd worked his way back into the
flow after coming off an injury."
Tomorrow, PC will have meetings and will lift. Nichols' squad will hit the
field again Thursday afternoon for its fifth practice in preparation of the
team's first scrimmage of the spring, which will occur Saturday morning.
