Reeves Connects on Sixth Homer in Setback at Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. – Sophomore Dalton Reeves connected on his team-high sixth homer of the season but the Presbyterian College baseball team fell in midweek action to Clemson 12-3 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Tuesday night. Reeves also tallied his team-leading 12th double of the season in Tuesday's defeat.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
- The Blue Hose jumped on the Tigers quickly with a two-run single from Jeremiah Boyd in the first to take the early 2-0 lead.
- Clemson responded in the home half of the second with four runs to take a 4-2 advantage after two innings.
- The Tigers pushed across five in the third inning to make it 9-2 for the home team after three frames.  
- The hosts added a two-run homer in the fifth to push the lead to 11-2.
- Clemson picked up one in the home half of the seventh.
- Reeves recorded his sixth homer of the season to leadoff the eighth and push the Clemson lead to its final margin of 12-3. 

NOTABLES
- Eric Toth pushed his hit streak to a team-high 18 in a row on Tuesday with his first-inning single.
- Reeves tallied his 10th multi-hit game of the season to push his hit streak to season-high nine straight contests.
- Noah Lebron's base hit extended his reached base streak to 12 games in a row.
- Freshman Yechiel Saint recorded his first collegiate hit with his seventh-inning single. 
- Senior Darien Rorabeck tossed a career-high 3.1 innings of relief for the Blue Hose.
- Sophomore Ryan Folts tallied his first career appearance with multiple strikeouts as he recorded a pair in an inning of work on Tuesday. 
- Boyd picked up a pair of RBIs for his fourth game with 2+ RBIs in the last seven for the Blue Hose catcher.
