ATLANTA, Ga. – The Presbyterian College baseball team was unable to overcome a nine-run seventh inning as the host #19 Georgia Tech picked up a 17-7 victory on Wednesday night at Russ Chandler Stadium. Sophomore Chris Veach led the Blue Hose with three runs knocked in on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Veach got the Blue Hose going in the opening frame with a two-out two-run double to give PC the early 2-0 lead.
- The guests extended that lead in the second with a two-run home run off the bat of Sean Klein that gave the Blue Hose the 4-0 lead after 1.5 innings.
- Georgia Tech plated three in the home half of the second to cut the Blue Hose lead down to 4-3 after two.
- The Yellow Jackets got out in front for the first time in the contest with a three-run homer to right-center to take a 6-4 advantage to the fifth.
- Jack Gorman cut into the Georgia Tech lead in the sixth with a solo home run to make it 6-5 after 5.5 innings.
- Georgia Tech pushed the lead out to 8-5 with a pair of runs in the sixth inning.
- Veach and Joel Dragoo added RBI singles in the seventh cut the Yellow Jackets lead to one, 8-7.
