The Presbyterian College athletic department and head women’s soccer coach Brian Purcell announced the addition of Sydni Dachs to join the Blue Hose in the fall of 2019 on Wednesday.

 

The Northview High School standout joins a class of four others that includes Amy Cloud, Bri Reynolds, Anna Stouffer and Megan Wilson.

 

“We are thrilled to have these standout student-athletes joining us next fall,” said Purcell. “They represent everything that we think is important for our program.  They are dedicated students, talented and hardworking players, and young women with great character who will be assets to the team and College.”

 

Sydni Dachs, Defender, 5-8, Northview HS

 

High School: Four-year varsity starter at Northview High School … Spent time as a forward and defender … Named to the 2018 All-Region 7-6A team … Named team MVP and Best Defensive Player … Recipient of the Captain’s Award.

 

Club: Member of Atlanta Fire United in the ECNL … Competed in the national playoffs as a member of the U15 team.

 

Personal: Sydni Nicole Dachs was born in Johns Creek, Georgia, to Gary and Patty Dachs … Sisters Amanda and Kaitlyn played collegiate volleyball at Georgia and Georgia State respectively … Earned "Honor Awards" sophomore and junior years … Member of the Will to Live Club and Young Life Club … Chose PC because it felt like home when she visited … Intends to major in Pre-Medical/Pre-Pharmacy.
