CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s soccer fell in double-overtime to Winthrop on Senior Night at Martin Stadium on Saturday night.

How it Happened

Winthrop scored the first goal of the game in the final minute of the first half on a PC turnover. Stephanie Lee tied the game at 1-1 in the 69th minute when the Winthrop goalkeeper came out of her box to challenge Lee, leaving the net wide open. The Eagles ended the game midway through the second overtime on a goal over the head of goalkeeper Alyssa Leaman.

Record

PC falls to 3-13-0 overall and 1-7-0 in the Big South, while Winthrop improves to 4-11-1 overall and 1-6-1 in conference play.
