Clinton, S.C. – The Presbyterian College cross country teams will begin their 2018 season at the Eye Opener on Friday, August 31 at the Milliken Center in Spartanburg, S.C.

The Blue Hose are expected to compete against USC Upstate, Furman, Lander, Western Carolina, and Wofford amongst others. The women’s 5k race will start at 6:30 pm and the men’s 8k race will follow at 7:10 pm. More information about the race can be found here.

Last year at the Eye Opener, Sally Hart ran 20:21 to lead the women’s team, placing 31st overall. On the men’s side, William Wise ran a then personal-record 28:16, finishing 30th. Duncan Gotfredson finished just six seconds behind Wise, 28:22, to take 33rd place in the race.
