The Presbyterian College Athletic Department released the men's and women's cross country schedules for the fall of 2018 on Monday. The Blue Hose will compete in six races, including the Big South Championship which will be hosted by High Point on Friday, October 26.

"I'm really happy with the schedule we've got this season," said first year head coach GJ Hudgens. "It allows for plenty of training and recovery time that will really benefit the team's success."

The season will begin with the Eye Opener at USC Upstate on Friday, August 31. The women's race will begin at 6:30 pm and the men's race is set for 7:10 pm.

Following a week off, PC will head to Rock Hill for the Winthrop Invitational on Saturday, September 15. This meet is the preview for NCAA Division I Southeast Regionals that will take place on Friday, November 9. The men's race starts at 9:15 am and the women will take off at 10:00 am.

On Friday, September 28, the Blue Hose will once again take part in the Queen City Invite at McAlpine Park in Charlotte, North Carolina. The women's race will begin at 4:30 pm and the men are set to start at 5:00 pm.

Both races that PC will run in October will be hosted by High Point. On Friday, October 12, the Vertcross Invitational will also serve as the Big South Preview Meet. Two weeks later, on October 26, the Blue Hose will return to the Ivey M. Redmon Sports Complex in Kernersville, North Carolina to compete for the Big South Championship.

On Friday, November 9, Winthrop will host the NCAA Division I Southeast Regionals. The men will compete in the 10k championship while the women compete in the 6k championship.
