The Blue Hose were defeated by the Liberty Flames on Saturday to open up Big South play.

PC is led in points by Lauren Schaaf and Kelly Hyman who each have 19 points this season. Schaaf has scored 19 via eight goals and 11 assists and now has 102 career points. 102 career points is the sixth most in PC women’s lacrosse history. Hyman has scored her 19 points via 14 goals and five assists.

Hyman’s 14 goals is tied for the team lead in goals as fellow freshman Sarah Marshall also has 14 goals this season.

Kayla Koch is the team leader in goal with nine starts and 421:01 of 660 minutes played in goal, she has 82 saves and a .376 save percentage. She is also the team leader with 30 ground balls this season.

Megan Dreyer leads the way with 20 draw controls this season and Claire Frase has nine caused turnovers to lead the way in caused turnovers.

The Blue Hose have a 69.8 shots on goal percentage this season. They also average 14.0 ground balls per game, 10.0 draw controls and five caused turnovers per game.

The Winthrop Eagles are 8-3 on the season and 1-0 in Big South play. The Eagles are currently riding a seven game win streak.
