Clinton, S.C. – The Presbyterian College lacrosse team is heading west to face the Arizona State Sun Devils and the San Diego State Aztecs this Spring Break. The Blue Hose and Sun Devils play in Tempe, Arizona on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. EST before playing San Diego State on Monday, March 5 at 6:00 p.m. EST.

The Week Ahead
The Blue Hose travel out west for Spring Break this season as they take on Arizona State and San Diego State. It is the Sun Devils home opener as they return home after an east coast trip to play Manhattan and Columbia.
This is the first meeting for PC and Arizona State, San Diego State.
PC is coming off a tough loss to Mount St. Mary’s on Wednesday when it fell 16-0 to the Mountaineers.
Taylor Johnson tied her career high with four ground balls in the game.
Freshmen have combined to score 11 of the Blue Hose’s 22 goals this season and five of the eight assists. They are led by Sarah Marshall with six goals for six points, Kelly Hyman has one goal and team leading three assists for four total points, second on the team.
All six freshmen have seen playing time this season.
Kayla Koch has a team high 10 ground balls and 32 saves. She has a .381 save percentage in 193:34 minute in goal.
Johnson leads the way with 15 of the teams 38 draw controls this season while Clair Frase and Cady Roberts lead with four caused turnovers.
Scouting the Sun Devils & Aztecs
The Arizona State Sun Devils are 4-1 on the young season with the lone loss coming by one at San Diego State.
The Sun Devils average 15.0 goals per game and allow 10.6 goals. They shoot at a 42.4 percent clip and allow the opposition to shoot at a 38.7 percent rate.
Kerri Clayton leads the way with 24 goals while Graci Fulkerson leads with 10 assists. Berkeley Bonneau has played 274:21 minutes in goal and has a .455 save percentage.
The San Diego State Aztecs are 2-2 on the season with wins over California (12-11) and Arizona State (14-13). Both losses are vs ranked competition.
The Aztecs score 12.5 goals per game this season while allowing 14.5, they shoot at a 45.5-percent clip.
Harlowe Steele and Jill Haight lead the Aztecs with 10 goals each while Elizabeth Rourke leads with five assists. Katy Sharretts has played all 240:00 minutes in goal with a .463 save percentage.
