Clinton, S.C. – Members of the Presbyterian College men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete at the CIU Invitational on Saturday in Columbia, S.C. Six members of the men’s team and three members of the women’s team are scheduled to compete. This will be the second outdoor track meet that the Blue Hose have participated in this spring.

Members of the men’s team will compete in four different races. Luke Harmon, Zack Kochert, Kiro Morkos, Justin Nobles, and Neel Taber are all scheduled to run the 1500-meter race. Kochert, Morkos, and Kieran Scheutterle are expected to run the 800 meters. Schuetterle and Taber are slated to compete in 400-meter. Harmon and Nobles are scheduled to race the 5k. All five participants in the 1500 meters also took part in that race two weekends ago at the Coastal Carolina Invitational. Harmon will also be running the 5k for the second time this spring.

 

All three members of the women’s team competing this weekend are set to race in the same race as they did at Coastal Carolina. Ali Bennett and Abigayle Winn are scheduled to run the 5k and Julia Keen is slated to compete in the 1500-meter race.
