Clinton, S.C. – Members of the Presbyterian College men’s and women’s cross country teams are set to take part in the Coastal Carolina Invitational on March 8-9. This will be PC’s first time competing at an outdoor track meet since 2017.

 

Members of the men’s team are slated to participate three events, the 1500-meter, the 5k, and the 4 X 800-meter relay. Zack Kochert, Justin Nobles, Luke Harmon, Neel Taber, and Kiro Morkos are scheduled to run the 1500 meters. Nobles and Harmon are also slated to run the 5k. The relay team will be comprised of Morkos, Kochert, Taber, and Kieran Schuetterle.

 

Members of the women’s team are scheduled to run in a pair of events, the 1500-meter and the 5k. Julia Keen is slated to run the 1500 meters. Abigayle Winn and Ali Bennett will race in the 5k.

 

This will be the first time that PC has taken part in a 5k race in the Division I era. It will also be the first 4 X 800 relay that the Blue Hose have run since moving to Division I.
