SWANNANOA, NC – Presbyterian College seniors Sarah Jennings and Chris Sacco were named to the Big South All-Academic Teams as a part of the awards ceremony after the conclusion of the Big South Cross Country Championships on Saturday.

Jennings maintains a 3.85 GPA as a biology major with a chemistry minor. She ran a season’s best 21:32 at the Big South Preview Meet and was a consistent top-5 runner and leader throughout her career at PC. Involved in many clubs, she most notably is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, Beta Beta Beta and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. She is also a tutor, lab assistant and peer mentor for the biology department at PC.

Sacco maintains a 3.92 GPA while double majoring in physics and applied mathematics. His collegiate-best (29:14) came as a junior, and he was consistently a top-5 runner and leader for the men’s team since stepping onto campus. Also heavily involved on campus, he most notably is a member of the PC club cycling team, MAA, Phi Mu Epsilon, Physics Honor Society and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. He also is a tutor for the math and physics departments.
