Atlanta, Ga. – Following an outstanding school year in the classroom the Presbyterian College women’s basketball team has been named to the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Top 25 for the 2016-17 school year.
“I am extremely proud of the efforts of our team in the classroom,” said head coach Todd Steelman. “They’re a diligent group, and they take great pride in their performance on and off the court. We set high standards for them, but more importantly, they set high standards for themselves. This honor certainly reflects their commitment to those standards.”
This is the 22nd year that the Academic Top 25 honor roll has been compiled and the first year that the Blue Hose have made the list.
