CLINTON, S.C. – Three players finished with 10 points each in Presbyterian College’s 70-60 exhibition loss to Augusta State on Thursday evening at the Templeton Center.

The exhibition loss to the 2007-08 NCAA Division II National Runner-up was PC’s final tune-up of the year before their season-opening game against Duke in Durham, N.C. on Monday, Nov. 10. The game against Duke is part of the first round of the 2K Sports Classic Benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer.

Reigning NCAA Division I Independent Newcomer of the Year Al’Lonzo Coleman (Charlotte, N.C./Vance) was 4-for-7 from the field on the night en route to his 10 points. He had a team-high tying four rebounds in the loss.

Pierre Miller (Warner Robbins, Ga./Warner Robbins) and Josh Johnson (Hendersonville, Tenn./Hendersonville) both hit two three-pointers, one shot inside the arc and two free throws to acquire their 10 points. Johnson tied Coleman for team-high honors with four caroms in the game.

Senior guard Bryan Bostic (Norcross, Ga./Norcross) had nine points for the Blue Hose in the loss. Freshman Bo King (Charleston, W.Va./Charleston Christian) tallied eight points during his first ever appearance for the Blue Hose at the Templeton Center.

Coleman and Miller both recorded three steals each in the contest.

The Jaguars were guided by their two preseason NCAA Division II All-Americans in the exhibition win over the Blue Hose.

Augusta State Preseason All-America guard Ben Madgen led all scorers in the game with 18 points. First team Preseason NCAA Division II All-America selection Garrett Siler ended the evening with 12 total points. The true seven-footer was a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line.
