The Blue Hose rallied from a 2-1 deficit to force a fifth game, but it was the Bucs that came away with the fifth set victory and the 3-2 match win over the Presbyterian College volleyball team in Big South action Saturday afternoon in Charleston, S.C. PC took set one, 30-28, with CSU taking sets two and three, 25-2 and 25-23. PC took set four, 25-20, with the Bucs winning the fifth set, 15-11.

The Blue Hose opened the fourth set strong, opening with a 10-4 lead, extending it to 19-14, in part to a 4-0 run. CSU used a 4-1 run to cut the margin to 22-20, but PC responded with three in a row to come away with the 25-20 fourth set win to force a fifth set.

PC led midway through the fifth set, 9-6, but CSU fought back with five unanswered to take an 11-9 lead. PC cut it to within one off a Wright kill, but the Bucs responded with three to come away with the 15-11 fifth set and match win.
