Clinton, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s tennis team will host Campbell on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. This will be the third Big South match of the season for the Blue Hose.
PC is 1-1 in conference play this season, 8-5 overall in 2019. The Blue Hose split a pair of matches last weekend in Nashville, Tenn., defeating Arkansas State 4-3 on Sunday after falling to Lipscomb on Saturday. Sydney Patton, Samantha Calais, Beth Taylor, and Katie Thompson each earned singles wins in the victory over the Red Wolves.
Campbell has started the season 8-7, 2-1 against Big South opponents. Last Saturday, the Fighting Camels were defeated by Winthrop, 5-2, after picking up a mid-week win over South Carolina State. Two weekends ago, Campbell earned a pair of conference wins over USC Upstate, 5-2, and Charleston Southern, 4-3.
Following the match against the Camels, PC will play another Big South match on Tuesday. The Blue Hose will travel to Charleston Southern to face the Buccaneers at 12:00 p.m.
