Clinton, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s tennis team will travel to Nashville, Tenn. for a pair of matches this weekend. The Blue Hose will face Lipscomb on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at the Whitworth Racquet Club. PC will then face Arkansas State on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Lipscomb.


The Blue Hose will be returning to the court for the first time since last Wednesday, when they suffered a loss to Winthrop. The duo of Katie Thompson and Tracy Johnson picked up a win on court two in that match.


Lipscomb has started the 2019 season 8-3 after defeating Belmont 5-2 last Friday. The Bisons losses this year have come against Middle Tennessee, Alabama, and Memphis. They are undefeated at home this season.


Arkansas State is 3-2 to begin 2019. This weekend will be the Red Wolves first time playing since Saturday, February 16, when they swept UMKC. Arkansas State has also defeated Oral Roberts and Southeast Missouri State.
