CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s tennis team hosts Wofford at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning in what has been designated as Alumni Day for the program. The Blue Hose enter the match with a 9-3 record, while the Terriers sit at 8-5.

The Blue Hose are coming off a pair of wins over spring break against Florida A&M and Puerto Rico Rio Piedras. PC has won seven of its last eight heading in to Saturday’s matchup, while Wofford has dropped three of its last five, including losses to Big South foes Charleston Southern and Gardner-Webb.

Celine Schepers and Tracy Johnson have proved a formidable pair at the top of PC’s lineup, going a combined 16-4 at the No. 1 and 2 singles spots, respectively. Brittany Nuttall has proved solid as well, going 9-2 in singles action with a currently seven-match winning streak. Beth Taylor and Nicole Croxton both sit a 6-3 on the year in singles, as PC is 50-18 (.735) as a team in the individual portion.

PC has had success in doubles action as well, going 27-9 (.750) as a team in pairings. Croxton and Johnson are 8-3 in PC’s top doubles spot, while Schepers and Taylor are 7-1 across the No. 2 and 3 spots.
