CLINTON, S.C. – The Big South Regular Season Champion Presbyterian College men’s tennis team wraps up the regular season on Friday, hosting NJIT at 1 p.m. on Senior Day for the Blue Hose.

PC will honor its three seniors on Friday in their final regular season match at PC. Ben Kelley, Diego Manzanas and Joel Roberts have been key members of the program over the last four seasons.

Kelley has 65 career singles victories, including 23 in Big South matches, more than any other player in PC’s Division I era, to go with 59 career doubles victories, 19 of which came against Big South foes. Manzanas is not far behind with 57 career singles victories, including 19 in Big South matches, and 56 career doubles win, including 17 against Big South opponents. Roberts has been one PC’s best doubles players with 48 career wins, including 14 in Big South action.

The Blue Hose enter the match with a 14-10 overall record after having won seven of their last eight matches, including a 5-2 win over Winthrop on Monday to clinch its second regular season title. NJIT comes in with a 7-12 overall record, having lost six of its last seven matches.

Kelley, Alejandro Bejar and Jaime Castillo-Lopez have each won seven straight matches entering Friday’s action. Kelley sits at 18-3 on the season for a .857 winning percentage, currently second-best in a season PC’s D1 era. In addition, all three finished the year undefeated in Big South matches, as Kelley went 7-0, Bejar went 6-0 and Castillo-Lopez went 5-0.
