CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s tennis team travels south to take on Stetson in DeLand, Fla. at 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. The Blue Hose enter the match with a 6-7 record on the year, while the Hatters come in with a 5-3 record.

The Blue Hose are coming off a pair of losses in a doubleheader against Mercer on Saturday. Ben Kelley claimed a 6-4, 7-6 singles victory at No. 4 against the Bears, improving to a 10-2 on the season to lead the team.  Stetson enters the match after having defeated Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M, each by a score of 5-2.

PC has been strong in doubles play this season, compiling a 25-11 record in pairs for a 69.4 winning percentage. Kelley and Joel Roberts have combined for an 8-4 record at No. 1 doubles this season, while Alexander Lykou and Brandon Mills are 7-1 with a current seven-match winning streak. Diego Manzanas and Jaime Castillo-Lopez have proved capable as well, recording an 8-4 mark.
