Spartanburg, SC – The Presbyterian College men’s golf team ended the first day of the Wofford Invitational in ninth place with a team score of 595 (303, 292). Harrison Fisher and Weston Sanders are tied for 30th at 147 (+3) on the par-72 Spartanburg Country Club 6,648-yard course.

 

Fisher shot an opening round of 75 and a second round of even par 72. Sanders started his day at 76 before shooting one-under 71 in the afternoon.

 

Ben Pirro finished the day 43rdat 151 (75, 76). John David Chambers was one stroke back at 152 (79, 73) and tied for 44th. Carson Spears shot 154 (77, 77) to finish the day tied for 49th.

 

Wofford leads after two round with a team score of 562. Army’s Dean Sakata shot an impressive 132 (66, 66) on the day to take a lead for individual medalist honors.
