GREENVILLE, SC - Play has been suspended during the second round of the Furman Intercollegiate on Saturday due to lightning. The round will be continued beginning at 9:00 am on Sunday followed by a shotgun start for round three at 9:30 am.

The Blue Hose have unofficially moved up into 17th place with a team score of +6 during round two. Play was suspended before Carson Spears could complete his 18th hole. The senior sits tied for 55th at +1 on the day with one hole remaining in his second round. He started the day by eagling the par-5, 512-yard hole No. 2 and recording birdies on two others to going -4 on the front nine.

Weston Sanders also started the day by eagling the second hole. Sanders was even on the day before hitting a triple-bogey to finish the day at 152 (77, 75).

Haydon Norwood shot even-par on Saturday to move up to 152 (80, 72). John David Chambers improved to 154 (80, 74), and Harrison Fisher fell to 162 (80, 82).

North Florida remains in first place with a team score of 563. The Ospreys' Phillip Knowles also remains in first place at 137 (-7).
