Spartanburg, S.C. – Presbyterian College’s Cole Patterson shot a collegiate-best round of 69 (-3), including a pair of eagles, during the second round of the Wofford Invitational on Monday to move into a tie for 41st. The Blue Hose finished the day in 15th with a team score of 608 (314, 294).


Patterson eagled holes No. 1 (par-5) and No. 11 (par-4) at the par-72, 6648-yard Country Club of Spartanburg. The senior recovered from an opening round of 80 to tie with Ben Pirro who shot 149 (77, 72).


Also playing for PC, Charlie Tate (t63) shot 153 (78, 75), AJ Nolin (84) shot 160 (82, 78) and James Scott (t85) shot 162 (79, 83). Tate recorded an eagle during the first round on the par-5 hole No. 17.


Furman (561), Austin Peay (570) and Wofford (571) are leading the field of 16 teams. South Carolina’s Ryan Hall and Furman’s Jack Crosby are tied for first at 135.
