The Presbyterian College softball team, originally scheduled to host Gardner-Webb Saturday and Sunday, April 29-30, will now face the Runnin' Bulldogs Friday (April 28) at 4 p.m., and Saturday (April 29) at 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. The change was made due to possible inclement weather in the Clinton area Sunday.

Gardner-Webb is 14-33 overall and 7-15 in the league. The Runnin' Bulldogs are led by Alia Booth with her .316 batting average, 43 hits, 28 RBI, and 65 total bases. She is followed by Kaylee Wacaster at .282, 42 hits, 27 RBI, and 65 total bases. Mackenzie Thompson is tops in the circle with her 3.70 ERA in 87.0 innings of work. She has struck out 48 and surrendered 46 earned runs.

The Blue Hose are 17-30 overall and 6-12 in the league. They are led by Hope Rogers with a .327 batting average. She has 47 hits, nine doubles, 31 RBI, and 70 total bases. She is followed by Jonnie Petree with a .295 average, 36 hits, 22 runs scored, and a team-leading 26 stolen bases.

Leading the team in the circle is Alex Cook and her 2.76 ERA. She has struck out 66 in 101.1 innings and has thrown a team-high eight complete games.

The Blue Hose end the regular season and will await word on seeding for the Big South Tournament May 10-13, in Farmville, Va.
