Series History | Last Meeting
Presbyterian College holds a 5-4 series lead over Campbell and has won the last four matchups, including eliminating the Camels by 2-1 score in last year’s Big South Quarterfinals (11/5/17).
PC picked up a 3-1 regular season win at Campbell on September 28 behind a pair of second half goals from freshman Marcos Kitromilides. Campbell’s Bastien Oberli hit the crossbar with a penalty kick early in the second half that would have given the Camels a 2-1 lead. Jan Hoffelner made four saves.
Scouting the Camels
Campbell advances to the Championship after ousting Gardner-Webb, 3-0, in the first round and getting past No. 13 High Point after a 3-2 PK decision in the semifinal.
Over the last 200 minutes of game action, Campbell has only allowed four shots on goal, including none in the second half or extra time against High Point.
JJ Donnelly leads the team with 17 points (6 goals, 5 assists). Thibaut Jacquel has 16 points off four goals and a team-high eight assists. Bastien Oberli is 2-for-4 on penalty kicks this year and has six assists for 10 points.
Samuel Lechuga holds an 8-5-2 record in net over 15 starts and 1402 minutes played. He has allowed 18 goals, made 49 saves, has a .731 save percentage and 1.15 goals against average. Lechuga has six shutouts on the year.
Fear the Thumb
PC has won the last four matchups against Campbell by a score of 11-2, including a 5-0 win on PC Senior Day (10/21/17) the last time the Camels visited Martin Stadium.
PC is the first defending champion to play for the Big South Tournament title since 2013-14 when Coastal Carolina won a pair of titles.

Updating The Record Book
With their 2-0 win over Radford, the Blue Hose have secured a new program-best for the Division I era with their eighth win of the year.
The team has set program-bests with 68 points, 24 goals and 20 assists.
Hoffelner ranks 8thin the PC Division I era with 52 saves in a single season. His 1.04 goals against average ranks second behind Behrend's 0.94 mark from a season ago.
The 2018 Blue Hose also rank first in their record books for shots per game (14.37), shots on goal per game (6.58) and game-winning goals (8).
Luca Ziegler is tied for second with four assists this season. He trails Ignacio Monchetti (6, 2016) by two assists.
Clement Vannier has taken a program-best 21 shots on goal this season and scored four goals.
13 different players have recorded at least one point this season, and eight players have scored at least one goal.
Marcos Kitromilides leads the team with 14 points and a team-high seven goals, while Luca Ziegler leads the team with four assists. Jordan Barbara has 11 points off four goals and three assists in 13 games played. Sergio Pinto (3 goals, 4 assists) and Clement Vannier (4 goals, 1 assist) each have nine points.
Adrian Edo Martin (3G), Plamen Mangarov (1G, 2A), Yacine Tchemmoun (1G, 1A), Ricardo Hernandez (1G, 1A), Harry Abell (2A), Victor Menudier (1A), Andrew Miller-Bell (1A) and Mathias Mikalsen (1A) all have points as well.
Against Ranked Opponents
The Blue Hose have squared off against four ranked teams in 2018. PC scrimmaged No. 9 North Carolina (2-1, L) during the preseason and played back-to-back games at No. 1 Wake Forest (4-1, L) and No. 6 NC State (2-0, L) to start the year. In the regular season finale, PC battled No. 12 High Point for 90 minutes in a 1-0 loss.
The Blue Hose returned nine starters from last year’s Big South Championship team. Those starters include: Clement Vannier, Jakob Luedtke, Luca Ziegler, Yacine Tchemmoun, Andrew Miller-Bell, Victor Menudier, Sergio Pinto, Ricardo Hernandez and Adrian Edo Martin. Vannier (five), Pinto (three) and Miller-Bell (three) combined for nearly half of last year's 23 goals scored.
