CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College football team held its fifth practice of preseason camp on Tuesday which has progressed to featuring full pads for the Blue Hose. PC sits just 25 days away from the opening kickoff to the season.

“I like the veteran leadership from the guys who decided to stay in the program,” head coach Tommy Spangler said after practice. “I think we have a shot to have a solid top 22, but we are looking for the depth on both sides of the ball as we move the preseason.”

The Blue Hose worked in full pads and saw real contact for the first time over the last two practices on sunny mornings in Clinton. The team continues to work on being sound fundamentally in the early days of camp.

PC returns to the field over the next three days with practices from 9am-12pm before having their first scrimmage on Saturday which is slated for approx. 10am. Fans are encouraged to come out and get a glimpse of the Blue Hose preparing for the upcoming season.
