CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s and women’s golf teams begin their 2019-20 campaigns on Monday as they take part in the Golfweek Program Championship. The men’s event will take place on the Caledonia GC (par-71, 5904 yards) in Myrtle Beach, while the women’s event will be contested on the True Blue GC (par-72, 6034 yards) on Pawley’s Island.

The 54-hole event was originally slated to begin on Sunday and held over the course of three days, but due to weather, has been altered to two days, with the first two rounds being held on Monday, and the final round on Tuesday.

Both squads are competing in the event for the second straight year. The Blue Hose women finished fifth in 2018, while the men placed 13th. This year’s edition will feature 14 teams in the men’s competition, and 16 on the women’s side. Fellow Big South members Gardner-Webb, High Point, and USC Upstate are among the other schools in the fields.

AJ Nolin, Jimmy McCollum, Thomas Hollingsworth, Nat Simkins, and Mason Whatley are set to compete for the men’s team.

Julie Hillestad, Serina Combs, Caroline Martin, Taylor Gardner, and Kelli Kragh are slated to tee it up for the Blue Hose women.

Both teams begin play with a 9:00 am shotgun start on Monday morning.
