Edisto Island, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s golf team ended the second round of the Edisto Island Invitational tied for ninth with a team score of 599 (300, 299) and with two golfers in the top-20. Charleston Southern is hosting the 54-hole event at The Plantation Course at Edisto (par-71, 5902 yards).

Julie Hillestad tied for 16th with a score of 144 (73, 71) and shot a collegiate-best round of 71 (E) during round two. Maiken Bing Paulsen climbed to 20th at 145 (75, 70) with a second round score of 70 (-1).

Ann Elizabeth Gore tied for 26th with a score of 148 (70, 78) after a collegiate-best opening round of 70 (-1). The senior had a team-high five birdies during round one and was -4 on the front nine.

Serina Combs tied for 66th with a score of 162 (82, 80), while Taylor Gardner tied for 78th at 170 (85, 85).

North Florida combined for a score of 570 to lead the field of 16 teams. Delaware’s Thitaree Sakulbunpanich sits in first place with a two-round score of 134 (69, 65).
