CONWAY, S.C. – Presbyterian College women’s soccer sophomore goalkeeper Sydney Fontenot (Austin, Texas) was named to the Big South Conference All-Tournament Team on Sunday for her performance against eventual champion Liberty in the quarterfinal of the Big South Conference Women’s Championship last Sunday.

Fontenot played the second half against the Flames and stopped five shots. The sophomore kept her composure during several goal-mouth scrambles and shutout Liberty in the half.

Fontenot played in 12 matches in 2013, starting two. She posted a 1.14 goals against average to go along with a .855 save percentage and wins against UNC Asheville and Winthrop. Fontenot earned a full 90-minute shutout against Asheville and factored in three out of four shutouts to end the season against VMI, High Point and Winthrop.
