SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Three former members of the Presbyterian College women's basketball program will be honored as part of the All-Time NAIA District Six Women's Basketball Team on Saturday evening, as former player Leah McCullough and former coach Beth Couture will earn spots on the team while Tonya Williams will earn Honorable Mention recognition.

The ceremony will take place during the NAIA District Six Reunion at USC Upstate's Readiness Center at 7 p.m.

Leah McCullough played for the Blue Hose from 1986 to 1990 and ranks in the top 10 of several program categories, checking in at third in both career scoring (1,634) and rebounds (665) while ranking seventh in steals (195) and ninth in blocks (63).

McCullough also earned NAIA All-District Six honors in 1989-90 after making the NAIA All-Freshman Team in 1986-87. Upon the South Atlantic Conference sponsoring women's basketball, she made the inaugural All-SAC squad in 1989-90.

Couture will join the All-Time NAIA squad as a former player of the Erskine Flying Fleet, but Couture coached the Blue Hose for 13 seasons from 1989 to 2002. Couture led PC to a 238-117 record during her tenure, including a 65-44 record in PC's final four NAIA seasons.

Couture guided PC to five straight 20-win seasons from 1997-98 to 2001-02 and six NCAA South Atlantic Regional appearances. She earned three SAC Coach of the Year awards (1993-94, 98-99 and 99-00) and an IKON/WBCA District Coach of the Year honor in 1999-00. Couture currently coaches the Butler Bulldogs women's basketball program.

Williams, an All-Time NAIA Honorable Mention, ranks sixth in career steals, with 199. Her 499 points in 1988 ranks as the seventh-most all time at PC and she earned NAIA All-District Six honors in 1987-88.

Saturday's event marks the second annual NAIA Reunion.
