The Presbyterian College men’s basketball team returns home for the final time before the holiday break with a 2 p.m., game against Coastal Georgia, Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Templeton Center. Admission is free.

While this is the first meeting between the two schools, there is a connection between the two with former PC athletics director William “Bee” Carlton, now serving in the same capacity for the Mariners. Carlton was PC’s AD until 2010, when he assumed the role at Coastal Georgia.

Coastal Georgia is 3-8 and is coming off a close 83-85 loss to Webber International. Haylen Washington leads the Mariners with 16.2 points and 7.2 rebounds a game. The team is averaging 72.6 points and 38.1 rebounds per game.

PC is 3-6 and is led by freshman Jo'Vontae Millner with his 12.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Reggie Dillard is second with 8.8 points. The Blue Hose are averaging 66.1 points and 32.8 rebounds per game.
