Charleston Southern picked a run back up in the third with a Bobby Ison double and a Andrew Widell RBI single. Rightfielder Brandon Paul (Augusta, Ga.) gunned down Widell at second as he tried to stretch the play into a double.

The Blue Hose restored its three-run lead in the bottom of the fourth. Tyler Weyenberg (Marietta, Ga.) beat out a single and took second on a wild pitch. Jay Lizanich (Greer, S.C.) then hit a ball to third that went through the infielder and into left to score a run, 4-1.
