ORLANDO, Fla. - The Presbyterian College baseball team fell to the No. 13 University of Central Florida Knights in the series finale on Monday, 7-2.

PC moves to 20-27 on the year while UCF improves to 38-11.

Nate Chong (Duluth, Ga.) led PC with a 3-for-4 effort. Gabe Grammer (Irmo, S.C.) drove in the team's lone RBI on a solo home run while Brad Zebedis (Rock Hill, S.C. ) posted two hits.

UCF's Chris Matulis improved to 6-0 by taking the win and Joe Rogers earned the save.

Beau Dees (Blenheim, S.C.) received the loss, allowing four runs (two earned) on eight hits in five and two-thirds innings.

UCF scored five runs in the final three innings en route to the victory.

PC struck first, thanks to a Grammer home run in the second inning. The solo shot marked the senior's second homer of the campaign and put PC in front, 1-0.

The Knights took back the run in the bottom of the frame, using a two out-single to pull even at 1-1.

Dees retired the side in the third before UCF scored once more in the fourth. A leadoff double and a single set up James Vasquez for an RBI sacrifice fly that gave the home side the lead, 2-1.

PC loaded the bases in the fifth, but two straight outs ended the opportunity. The Blue Hose brought two aboard in the sixth as well before the Knights struck for a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning to take a 4-2 lead.

A Jeramy Matos single in the seventh extended the UCF lead to 5-1 but PC answered, as Chong led off with a triple and cashed in on a wild pitch.

The Knights added two more in the eighth thanks to three hits and an error.

Tim Corbin (Murrells Inlet, S.C.) finished the game for PC, retiring the final two batters while allowing only one hit.

The Blue Hose wrap up their road stretch tomorrow with a 7 p.m. contest at Auburn.
