2012: Made 21 appearances, tied for the team high, picking up two saves... Pitched 32.1 innings... Made his first career appearance against No. 11 Georgia (2/18), going 2.2 innings and allowing one hit... Made his first start against Furman (2/21)... Picked up his first career save against Clemson (3/28)... Earned his first win with 1.1 shutout innings against Gardner-Webb (5/11) in relief... Threw 2.2 innings of one-hit ball against Duke (5/15)... Struck out a season-high five against NJIT (3/10).

High School: Played for coach Brandon Milam at McKinney Boyd High School… Posted a record of 8-3 with a 1.9 ERA and 71 K’s as a senior… Was named the team MVP his senior year... Other honors include Pitcher of the Year for McKinney Boyd High School, All-District Pitcher, All Bi-District pitcher and honorable mention pitcher for the area… Played summer ball for the Frozen Ropes Titans and the D-Bat Mustangs coached by Corey Thornton and Shayne Currin.

Personal: He was born on September 18, 1992 in Plano, Texas, the son of Laurie and Ray Ricchi… Has two younger siblings Kyle and Heather… Plans to major in Pre-Dental.
