Presbyterian College scored six runs in the first three innings and scattered five more en route to an 11-4 win over the Furman baseball team this afternoon at the PC Baseball Complex in Clinton, S.C.

The Blue Hose improved to 7-6, while the Paladins dropped to 6-8.

Will Muzika led Furman in the first inning with a double and crossed the plate for the game's first run off a RBI single by Harrison Farmer.

Brad Zebedis (Rock Hill, S.C.) knocked his fourth home run of the season in the bottom of the first to erase the one-run deficit and give the Blue Hose a 2-1 lead, which they wouldn't relinquish the remainder of the game.

PC added three more in the second, highlighted by a the-RBI double by Andrew Williams (Augusta, Ga.), and another in the third, to take a 6-1 lead.

Furman carded one more run in the fourth before PC answered with three runs in the fifth after Nate Horton Doubled in Tony Micklon (Sumter, S.C.) and Kenny Bryant (Goose Creek, S.C.) and came home off a sacrifice fly by John Wagner (Olney, Md.).

After the Blue Hose scored two more in the seventh, Furman got on the board again in the ninth after Muzika doubled to left field, driving in Hunter Burton and Cameron Allmendinger.

Muzika led the Paladins with a two-for-five effort with two RBI.  Brian Dudzinski pitched 2.2 innings and gave up six runs off eight hits for the loss (0-1).

Steven Richardson picked up his first win (1-2), going 5.0 innings with five hits and two runs.  Horton led the Blue Hose, going three-for-three with four RBI.  He was followed by Williams with his three-for-five effort and three RBI.

PC hosts North Carolina Central in a three-game series next, with the first game Friday, March 11 at 2 p.m.  The second game is Saturday at 2 p.m. with the third and final game Sunday at 1 p.m.  Friday's and Saturday's game will be broadcast live on
