2012: Started 53 games, appearing in 51 at third base... Tallied a .311 batting average, tied for second on the squad, and hit .325 in Big South Conference play... Picked up his first two RBI against No. 11 Georgia (2/18)... Tallied multiple hits in 15 games and no Blue Hose hit three times in one game as often as Lizanich (nine games)... Picked up three hits in games against Mercer (2/26), Liberty (3/18), High Point (4/15) and Furman (4/25)... Nearly one-third of his RBI came with two outs... Drove in two RBI against No. 13 UCF (5/6)... Advanced runners at a .519 clip (55-for-106) and hit .333 with two outs (21-for-63)... Registered six assists in games against UNC Greensboro (4/6) and Duke (5/15)... Posted a .972 fielding percentage as a freshman third baseman.

High School: Played at Riverside High School for coach Mark Kish… Awarded All-Region Honors his sophomore and senior years, and received Academic All-Region honors his senior year… 2011 Big League World Series Champion… Played on two summer ball teams, the Upstate Mavericks coached by Chris Nall and the Big League District 7 coached by Jeff Young.

Personal: Son of Pamela and Gary Lizanich, also has one younger sister, Jenna… He was born in Dearborn, Michigan on June 2, 1993 but originally from Greer, SC… Plans to major in Biology and minor in German.
