A back and forth battle the entire match, the Presbyterian College volleyball team avenged a 2-3 loss earlier this season with a 3-2 dramatic win over UNC Asheville in Big South action Tuesday evening at Templeton Center in Clinton, S.C.

PC won the first set, 25-21, but dropped set two, 14-25. The Blue Hose rallied in the third with the 26-24 victory, but fell in set four, 21-25. The home team came out victorious in set five, taking it 15-9.

Players of the Match
Sierra Davis led the Blue Hose on offense with 14 kills, followed by Halle Tripp with nine and Erin Eulitz with eight. Sara Rogers added 48 assists, just one shy of her career mark.

Shelby Erickson paced Asheville with 15 kills, with Madison Vaughn recording 14 on the night. Carter Kennedy posted 44 assists.

Stats of the Match
PC hit .236 after totaling 53 kills, while UNC Asheville recorded 62 kills and a .322 hitting percentage.

Record
PC improves to 5-24 overall and 3-11 in the Big South, while UNC Asheville drops to 11-15, 5-10.
