HILTON HEAD, SC – The Presbyterian College men’s golf team tied for sixth at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate with a 54-hole score of 886 (302, 287, 297). Junior Carson Spears and sophomore Park Brady recorded top-15 finishes to lead the Blue Hose.

Spears (Augusta, Ga) finished 11th at 215 (75, 69, 71) while Brady (Saint Simons Island, Ga) shot 216 (71, 72, 73) to tie for 12th on the par-72 course (6,913 yards).

Davis Parker (Augusta, Ga) recovered to shoot 227 (81, 73, 73) and tie for 43rd. Hayden Ploeger (Aiken, SC) tied for 69th at 232 (76, 75, 81) and Weston Sanders (Greenwood, SC) tied for 72nd at 233 (80, 73, 80).

Campbell had three top-10 golfers lead them to a 14-stroke win with a combined score of 847 (286, 282, 279). Wofford’s Andrew Novak pulled away to win individual medalist honors at 203 (70, 67, 66).

The Blue Hose will next play at the 2016 Intercollegiate Invitational at the Legacy Club in Orlando, Florida, from February 28-March 1.
