AIKEN, S.C. - The Presbyterian College men's golf team moved into 13th place after shooting a second round of 293 at The Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate. USC Aiken is hosting the event on the par-70, 6,617-yard course.

Redshirt-senior Evan Phillips (Lexington, S.C.) recovered from his first round to shoot even par for round two. Phillips currently sits tied for 33rd at 147 (77, 70). A few strokes back is freshman Samuel Jackson (Pelion, S.C.) tied for 52nd at 150 (74, 76). Sophomore Carter Davis (Spartanburg, S.C.) is tied for 55th at 151 (76, 75).

Sophomore William Sigg (Augusta, Ga.) and junior Matt Sizemore (Richmond, Va.) both improved during round two and are tied for 71st at 153.

South Carolina and Virginia are tied for first place with team scores of 570. Clemson's Crawford Reeves and Virginia's Ben Kohles are tied atop the individual leaderboard at one-under 139.
