Charleston Southern rallied with six runs in the seventh inning to take the 6-5 win over the Presbyterian College softball team in game one action Saturday afternoon in Clinton, S.C. PC came back with a 4-1 win in game two, behind RBI doubles from Blaire Miller and Hope Rogers in the third inning. Kelsie Sanchez added a home run in the fourth to help seal the win.
Scoring Game One
After recording back to back scoreless innings, PC posted the first runs of the game, beginning with a RBI double from Rogers in the bottom of the third. Rogers scored the next at-bat off a two-run home run from Megan Anderson, her fourth of the season. The Blue Hose added a fifth run in the sixth off a RBI double from Presley Bissett to give PC the 5-0 lead.
Charleston Southern loaded the bases in the top of the seventh with Stevi Johnson drawing a RBI walk for run number one. A single from Jade Gandara brought in another with Cheyenne Gandara bringing two more with a two RBI single back to the shortstop. A RBI fielder's choice by Mallory Kasinger tied the game at 5-5, with a Lexi Vanada single moving the Bucs ahead by the eventual final 6-5 score.
Scoring Game Two
Hope Rogers put PC on the board in the bottom of the first with a RBI groundout to short. The Blue Hose followed it up with two more in the third with RBI doubles by Miller and Rogers to give the Blue Hose a 3-0 lead. In the fourth inning Sanchez hit her fourth home run of the season to make it 4-0.
Charleston Southern notched a run in the top of the fifth with a RBI single from Johnson to make it 4-1.
Game One Line Scores
Charleston Southern finished with six runs off 10 hits, with no errors. PC posted five runs off five hits, while recording three errors.
Katie Brown started for PC, going 6.0 innings and giving up four runs off seven hits. Alex Cook took the loss in relief (2-9), pitching one inning and surrendering two runs off three hits. Cheyenne Gandara went the distance for CSU (6-9), striking out nine while giving up five runs off five hits.
Game Two Line Score
PC had four runs off six hits, with one error, while CSU collected one run off nine hits. Cook earned the win (3-9), going 7.0 innings and giving up just one run off nine hits, with three strikeouts. Holly Clark (6-6) started for CSU and pitched 3.0 innings. She struck out three and gave up four runs off five hits. Arizona Pilgrim went 3.0 innings and gave up just one hit in relief.

Anderson recorded two RBI, hers coming off a double in the thid inning. Hope ROgers led the team in hits with two, while pickign up two RBI as well. Jade Gandara led CSU with three hits, with Cheyenne Gandara pacing the team in RBI with two.
Players of Game Two
Six different Blue Hose collected a hit apiece with Rogers pacing the team in RBI with two. Four players recorded doubles with Miller, Rogers, Anderson, and Courtney White all coming away with the mulit-base hit. Brittany McPherson led CSU with three hits and two doubles, followed by Johnson with two hits and one RBI.
