2012: The Freshman ended the season as the team-lead in batting average (.300) ... She was also second on the team in hits (42) and third in on base percentage (.364) ... McLean started in all 53 games as the shortstop ... She went 42-of-140 with two RBI, 45 total bases and 16 runs scored ... Recorded a career-high three hits and three runs scored against NorthCarolina A&T (4/28) ... Posted nine multiple-hit games ... Had a career-high five put-outs against Liberty (4/20) and had a career-best six assists twice, against Charleston Southern (3/30) and Radford (4/14) ... Fourth on the team in stolen bases, going 10-for-15 ... Posted her only triple of the season against North Carolina A&T (4/28) ...

High School: Played as a shortstop/utility player at Courtland High School in Spotslyvania, Va. ... Lead her team to a 2009 District Tournament Championship and 2008, 2009, and 2010 District Championship Runner-up ... Named 1st team All-Area & 1st team All-Region, 1st team Battlefield District, Honorable Mention All-State 2010, and was named Battlefield Player of the Year... Also, played one year of Volleyball and Basketball .
