CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s soccer team fell to Campbell 3-1 Saturday at Martin Stadium in Big South Conference action.
The Blue Hose fell to 0-12-1, 0-5-1 in the Big South, while the Camels went to 6-7-0, 2-3-0 on the season.
Campbell scored the first goal of the game in the 26th minute when Bradley Farias sent a ball into the 18-yard box and was headed in by Seth Jones for this fifth goal of the year.
The Blue Hose evened the score off the foot of Mason Lewis (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) in the 28th minute. John Speed (Decatur, Ga.) took a free kick and sent it into the 18 that Lewis finished inside the 6.
Isiah Page netted the game winner in the 63rd minute. Sam Butts send in a ball from the right side into the 18 and Page headed the ball in the back of the net. The Camels scored an insurance goal in the 72nd minute. Bradley Farias collected an attempted clear and found the back of the net for the 13th time this season.
The Blue Hose took 11 shots and put six on frame.
Johnny Archer (Charlotte, N.C.) generated five saves in the match for PC.
Presbyterian concludes the home portion of its schedule against Gardner-Webb 6 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Stadium.
