SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Presbyterian College fell shot 3-1 against Wofford Tuesday night at Snyder Field. PC was first to get on the scoreboard, but were unable to hang on.

The Blue Hose men’s soccer team fell to 0-4 on the season, while the Terriers improved to 3-0-1 on the year.

Presbyterian found the back of the net in the 26th minute off a corner kick. Junior John Speed (Decatur, Ga.) served the ball into the 18 yard box that connected with Matt Trimby (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) who headed it into the goal for his first collegiate goal.

Wofford’s Jonathan Dean scored his first of the year with two seconds left before halftime to even the score at 1-1.

Will Puckett scored in the 71st minute with a pass from Charlie Heffron and Nestor Jaramillo scored on a penalty kick in the 75th minute to conclude Wofford’s scoring.

Johnny Archer (Charlotte, N.C.) collected six saves for the Blue Hose.

Presbyterian hosts Texas Rio Grande Valley 1 p.m. Sunday at Martin Stadium.
