CLINTON, S.C. - The Presbyterian College men's soccer team fell to Wofford at home on Thursday in scrimmage action, 3-0.

The Terriers struck quickly but the PC defense locked down after the opening trio of goals, holding Wofford scoreless for the final 75 minutes.

Pachinno Roberts (Powder Springs, Ga.) turned in a complete effort, turning away Terrier attackers and slicing through a number of Wofford players in offensive situations.

Ignacio Monchetti (Montevideo, Uruguay) and Byron Quinatoa (Santo Domingo de Los Colorados, Ecuador) each tallied a shot on goal. Nearly every player saw field time and several newcomers made their presences felt, including goalkeeper Tyler Beadle (Douglasville, Ga.).

The Blue Hose open the season on Friday, August 24 at home against Furman at 7 p.m.
