2012: Earned six singles wins at the third flight and four doubles victories at No. 2... Picked up her first singles win against Western Carolina (2/26), setting off a five-match win streak that included victories over UAB (3/2), Robert Morris (3/5), Saginaw Valley State (3/6) and Upper Iowa (3/6)... Knocked off Longwood in three sets (3/13)... Won four doubles matches with partner Caroline deLoach against Robert Morris, Saginaw Valley State, Upper Iowa and South Dakota.

High School: Lost only five matches playing four years of varsity for Athens (Ga.) Academy… Helped the Spartans to a state championship as a junior while only losing one match playing at the second flight… Earned the school’s sportsmanship award… Played at the second flight for the first three years of high school, going undefeated as a freshman en route to a state runner-up finish and losing once as a sophomore and taking Athens to third place in state championships… As a senior, lost three matches at the top flight and helped earn a region championship.

Personal: Greer Emily Ransom… Daughter of Mayson and Lisa Ransom… Uncle John Ransom played tennis for PC... Majoring in biology.
