Ole Miss will host the Presbyterian College football team in 2014, it was announced this week.  It will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

The Blue Hose, which have faced at least one FBS opponent every year since 2010, will take on the Rebels Oct. 18, 2014, at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium (60,500) in Oxford, Miss.

"This game will be another great stop in our journey to Division I," said Head Coach Harold Nichols.  "Ole Miss has a rich and storied history and we look forward to making the trip in 2014."

The game will mark the second SEC opponent for the Blue Hose, with PC traveling to Vanderbilt Sept. 15, 2012.

"The Rebels are a member of the best football conference in the country.  It will be a great opportunity for our student-athletes.  I want to thank Coach Hugh Freeze and the Ole Miss administration for giving us this opportunity.  Fans and alumni will enjoy their visit in 2014 to one of the best game day experiences in all of college football."

The Blue Hose open the 2012 season at home Sept. 1 against Brevard.
