CLINTON, S.C. – Volleyball's Rachel Hall (Roswell, Ga.) and men's basketball's William Truss (Vestavia Hills, Ala.) were named Presbyterian College's Male and Female Athletes of the Week for their accomplishments on the courts for the week ending November 13.
Truss averaged a double-double through the first two games of the season against Georgia Tech and The Citadel, leading the Blue Hose in points (20) and rebounds (14) against the Bulldogs on Tuesday night. Through the first pair of contests, Truss averaged 14 points and 10 rebounds while playing 34.5 minutes per night.
Hall set a new career-high with 18 kills on Friday night in a five-set defeat to Asheville before breaking her own record a day later with 19 kills in a crucial victory over Gardner-Webb.
