CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Presbyterian junior Sally Hart (Raleigh, N.C.) has been named Big South Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.

Hart ran a school-record time of 18:57 at the Queen City Invite to place 20th, the first runner from PC to break the 19-minute barrier. Her effort helped lead the Blue Hose to a sixth-place finish out of 13 teams, which included Davidson and Western Carolina.

The Blue Hose will next compete at the Big South Cross Country Championships, hosted by Liberty, on October 28.
