Radford survived a late rally by the Blue Hose, escaping with a 59-57 win in the last meeting (2/23/17) ... In the second half, Reggie Dillard scored 11 points and Darius Moore scored all 12 of his points to help the team fight back from a 13-point deficit ... PC outscored the Highlanders 37-29 in the second 20 minutes of action ... Moore’s three got PC to within 59-57, 41 second s to go, but Dillard missed a three-pointer with :03 remaining and collected his own rebound, but could not get a shot off as Radford hung on for the win ...

Radford is 7-6 overall and have won the last two games in a row, including a 72-62 overtime decision against UC Davis in Las Vegas Dec. 23 ... PC is 7-6 after a 77-60 win over Piedmont Dec. 21 ... Reggie Dillard scored a career-high 32 points to lead the team to the 17-point win ... Piedmont cut the lead to just nine late in the second half but a Dillard and Ethan Kay three-pointer put the team up by double-digits again and the Blue Hose never looked back, keeping the Lions at Bay ...

Reggie Dillard leads four players in double-figures in scoring with his 17.2 a game ... He is followed by Davon Bell (13.4), Francois Lewis (10.5), and J.C. Younger (10.2) ... Lewis is tops on the boards with 5.1 a game ... PC is averaging 74.6 points and 33.2 rebounds per game ...

A lot of new faces on the men’s basketball team for the 2017-18 season, especially on the coaching side with the hiring of former Wofford Associate Head Coach Dustin Kerns as the team’s 18th coach this past spring ... At Wofford Coach Kerns was part of two Souther Conference championships and two NCAA Tournament appearances ...

This past spring Coach Kerns replaced Gregg Nibert, who resigned after the 2017-18 season after leading the Blue Hose for 28 years ...

A whole new staff joined Coach Kerns with the addition of Tommy Brown, Frank Young, and Patrick Moynihan ... Coach Brown led Lee University for 11 years, making eight consecutive NAIA Tournament appearances ... Frank Young was a standout player at West Virginia and still ranks among the all-time leaders in three-pointers made, attempted, and percentage ... Coach Moynihan comes from a Troy team that went 22-15 last season, winning the Sun Belt Championship and advancing to the NCAA Tournament ...

Returning for the Blue Hose is sophomore Jo’Vontae Millner who led last year’s team with 10.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game ... Millner ranked in the top 25 in the league in scoring, and was 12th in rebounding ... Reggie Dillard, who was third in the league in assists with 3.5 a game, returns for a fifth year ...
